I get to bail on Newcastle for nearly a week. That alone is a positive.  I also get to go to the Gold Coast to compete in the Australian Surf Life Saving Championships, also a positive… Fact: “Aussie” titles are the second biggest sporting event in terms of competitors in the world… The Olympics are the biggest.  P.S - I get to leave Newcastle for nearly a week.
